Ramon Calanza, CHRL, CCLP, CPC
With nearly two decades of HR and supply chain experience in transportation and logistics, Ramon Calanza offers deep talent management expertise. A York University graduate, he holds CHRL, CCLP, and CPC designations. His career spans roles from HR Generalist and Driver Recruiter to Director of Talent & Retention and Vice President of HR. Ramon founded The Truck Stop and MERE HR & Consulting, building and transforming HR practices focused on talent acquisition, engagement, and retention.
He actively contributes to the industry through volunteer speaking engagements at trade shows, promoting training, safety, and career development. As a part-time professor in Centennial College’s Supply Chain Program, he mentors future professionals, sharing real-world insights and fostering strong business relationships. Combining operational knowledge with strategic leadership, Ramon drives innovative solutions in an evolving industry. Drawing on best practices and emerging trends, he exemplifies operational insight and strategic vision. Ramon’s impact strengthens organizational performance and fosters sustainable growth.
